Okay for Now is a novel that can speak to anyone of every age. It's about a young boy named Doug who deals with all the challenges that comes with living in an unstable household. Doug has such a unique voice, it drew me in from the beginning. I would venture to say that Doug has the most distinct voice that I have ever read in a book. His point of view gives a whole new perspective on a abusive situation. It's a coming of age book about family, PTSD, love, and the struggles of just being a kid.
